Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 1, 2026 | Last Updated: July 1, 2026

Please read these terms before creating a Walktru account. They cover what Walktru does, what you're responsible for when you publish content through it, and the limits of our responsibility. Questions? Email legal questions and we'll explain in plain language.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Walktru.io Inc. (“Walktru,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By checking “I agree to the Terms of Service” when you create an account, or by otherwise accessing or using walktru.io, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Eligibility and Your Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create a Walktru account.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential.
  • Walktru is intended for real estate professionals — agents, brokers, property managers, builders, and marketing agencies acting on their behalf.

3. What Walktru Does

Walktru is an AI-assisted tool that helps you produce marketing content from photos and information you supply — enhanced photos, virtual staging, branded reels, landing pages, flyers, and related outputs (“Outputs”). Walktru generates Outputs based on what you upload and enter; it does not independently verify the accuracy of any listing detail, photo, or claim you provide.

4. Your Content and Your Responsibility to Verify It

This is the most important section of these Terms. Please read it carefully before you publish anything through Walktru.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and compliance of everything you upload to, enter into, or publish through Walktru — including property addresses, prices, square footage, bed/bath counts, descriptions, photos, agent details, and any claim made in a reel, flyer, landing page, or social post. Before you publish anything, you must review it and confirm it is accurate. Several publish actions in the product require you to check a confirmation box saying exactly this before the page or asset goes live — that confirmation is not a formality.

Real estate marketing is subject to MLS rules, Fair Housing law, state real estate advertising regulations, and other legal requirements that vary by jurisdiction. Walktru automatically labels virtually staged and digitally enhanced images to help with disclosure requirements (see our Privacy Policy, Section 6), but Walktru does not review your listing details for legal or regulatory compliance, and using Walktru does not make your marketing compliant on its own. That responsibility stays with you and, where applicable, your brokerage.

Walktru is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability arising from, inaccurate, misleading, or non-compliant content that you publish — including any fines, penalties, MLS sanctions, regulatory action, or third-party claims that result from it. If a listing detail is wrong, a claim is unsupported, or a disclosure is missing, that is on you to catch before you publish — not on Walktru.

You retain ownership of the photos and information you upload. By uploading content, you grant Walktru a licence to process it solely to generate your Outputs, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. AI-Generated Content

Outputs are generated by AI models and may occasionally contain errors, artifacts, or inaccuracies — an enhanced photo may misrepresent a detail, a script line may overstate a feature, or a generated image may not perfectly match the source photo. Review every Output before you use or publish it. Walktru does not guarantee that any Output is error-free, and you should not rely on an Output without checking it against the actual property.

6. Subscription, Credits, and Billing

  • Walktru is credit-based. There is no free tier — a paid plan is required to use the tools, as described on our Pricing page.
  • Credits are billed in advance and are spent as you use each tool, at the rates shown in the product.
  • Subscription plans renew automatically at the interval you select until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of your current billing period.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Walktru does not store your full payment card details.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes another party's intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Use Walktru to publish false, misleading, or discriminatory housing advertising, including violations of the Fair Housing Act or equivalent state law
  • Use Walktru outputs to misrepresent a property in a way that could deceive a buyer, tenant, or other party
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the service without our written consent
  • Use the service to build a competing product
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, depending on severity.

8. Intellectual Property

Walktru and its underlying technology, branding, and product design are owned by Walktru.io Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any Walktru IP to you. As stated in Section 4, you retain ownership of your own uploaded content and the Outputs generated from it.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Walktru is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any Output will meet your expectations or be free of inaccuracies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walktru and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or any Output — including any fines, penalties, or claims arising from content you published. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Walktru will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Walktru harmless from any claim, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, content you publish through it, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting developers@walktru.io. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or suspected fraudulent or abusive activity. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 4, 9, 10, and 11 — remain in effect after your account is closed.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email and with a notice on the dashboard at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Walktru after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Contact Us
